A little about me...
My Client-First Philosophy
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional -- integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network -- all of which are hallmarks of my work ethic.
In my experience as a real estate professional in East Brunswick and all of Central New Jersey, I've found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first.
This has always been my approach; it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I can provide to my clients. So when you decide that you'd like to buy or sell a home in this area, please contact me.
I'll strive to provide you with the most useful information to help you make the best decisions in the complex of choices in buying or selling a home. I'll listen to your needs, respond promptly, negotiate vigorously and follow through efficiently in all the processes necessary to attain a successful closing.
Education and Training
I graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. My major in comparative religion has provided me with the knowledge and sensitivity to understand the specific concerns of the many religious and ethnic groups that enrich our region. In my professional education, in addition to the real estate course work needed to become a licensed agent, I have had further training in corporate relocation and new homes administration. I love participating in continuing education, both formally and informally. I have always felt that I owe my clients disclosure and transparency and am pleased that our profession has been evolving toward that ideal.
Awards and Designations
I am a Realtor Associate in both the National and New Jersey Association of Realtors (NAR and NJAR), hold membership in several regional multiple listing systems, have repeatedly earned the NJAR Circle of Excellence designation, and have achieved lifetime membership in the NJAR Distinguished Sales Club, denoting a minimum of ten years in the NJAR Circle of Excellence.
Areas of Expertise
I have been bringing families to Central New Jersey since our nation's Bicentennial. Many of my clients have returned to me for their second and third homes and have referred their friends, family, and colleagues. Their trust in my knowledge, judgment, and caring impels me to continue my pursuit of excellence in serving them and also those who come to me through the Internet.
Community activist for over four decades: Human resources coordinator for the Middlesex County League of Women Voters. Board member of Housing Coalition of Middlesex County. Consultant to East Brunswick Affordable Housing Commission. Currently on the boards of the East Brunswick Education Foundation, Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Middlesex County, and East Brunswick Jewish Center. For the Cancer Hope Network, I counsel women newly diagnosed with breast cancer.
Before becoming a real estate agent, I taught courses in ethics to teenagers. My husband and I are grateful that our three grown children are among my best students, internalizing the values I tried to teach. I miss my young granddaughters in Boston so I am delighted when you bring your children along to look at houses.
Communities I Serve
Please call me to market your present home or to find your new dream house. I look forward to working with you.
